Though we’ve worked on music adjacent projects for a while, 2021 has been our best for music festivals yet. Thanks to NOCOAST and Sawyer Harris Productions, as well as all of these wonderful festivals, we were able to contribute to a handful of livestreams, promotional recaps, and live music videos throughout the summer. From data wrangling to editing and videography, here are a few pieces that we had a hand or toe in.

act ii media in collaboration with Hail Your Highness and Sawyer Harris Productions created these four shorts in anticipation of the release of ANEMOIA, HYH’s 6th EP. aii wore a few hats for this production, but our primary role was oversight of cinematography and grip under direction of the talented Sawyer Harris.
Over the past six years I’ve had the privilege of traveling overseas and across the US. In going to new places I’m privy to moments of a blissful ineffability. I didn’t need to go far and wide to find them, but the further and wider I go the larger the net I cast. These small projects are often opportunities to experiment, to try new things and to learn how to use a smaller net more efficiently.

It was a privilege to work alongside Stone Hut Studios and Detroit PBS to enhance public awareness of this important issue. Our collaborator Noah Jurik was responsible for multiple interview shoots, drone footage, and extensive b-roll. I conducted a handful of interviews, b-roll, and was an assistant producer throughout the production and post-production process.
